I’m a poet, a parent, and a person with a good heart.
I’m Jo. I’m 39 in the middle of my mid-life self-discovery. Sure, most people call it a mid-life crisis, but I am in a glowup not a breakdown. I was raised in religious control and disfunction. My book, Silenced in Eden, will tell you all about that. I was born an artist. When my dyslexia was explained to me, it was explained like this, “You don’t hear the way the rest of the world hears.” I see, hear, and experience the world in a unique way, so I make unique ART.
